MY STORY
I know how it feels to struggle to lose weight and wrestle with poor self-esteem because of it.
At the age of 49, it seemed like I gained 10 lbs overnight. This was on top of the weight I had gradually put on since having kids.
My clothes no longer fit right and I felt embarrassed about it. I had lost my usual energy too. Everything felt like it took so much more effort.
The weight just wouldn't come off and I was beginning to think that I would have to accept the added weight and loss of energy as an unavoidable part of getting older.
One day I read about a challenge called 75 Hard. It involved some extreme exercise and no alcohol or "treats." I didn't quite complete the challenge but I did lose weight!

My results inspired me to create my own program. A plan that I could live with—not just a temporary challenge.
As a nurse, I wanted to do more to help people really get healthy instead of just repeating the doctor's advice which often just included a vague suggestion of "follow a healthy diet."
I completed courses to become a health and wellness coach and a personal trainer so that I could guide women through the same transformation I experienced.

The most valuable thing I've learned from Karen is that it is possible to work out at home and build muscle without expensive equipment or gym memberships. Imagine how you would feel if you were able to build muscle, reduce your pain, and lose weight in the process. Being able to keep up with my grandkids and not be in pain is a gift! Working with Karen is the best health move I have made in the past year.
